JCI Bradford is run for its members by its members and to do this we have an elected management team (board of directors) that work together to ensure JCI Bradford achieves it's vision of becoming the leading network of young people locally.
All of our meetings are held at convenient times for our members normally in an evening around 6pm on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Most of our events and activities locally and regionally are also held in an evening or weekend.
All members who hold board positions are provided with a designated JCI Bradford email address and webmail facility (guidance on how to access webmail will be provided).

Deputy President 2012
The Deputy President will work with the President and the board of directors to lead the organisation towards its vision. The role will ultimately involve representing JCI Bradford at JCI events and local non-JCI events where possible.
- Deputising for the President at meetings, events and/or civic functions where possible.
- Planning for the future including organising events and activities.
- Overseeing budget, helping other Directors with projects and generally focus JCI Bradford on future success.
- Assisting with the nomination of JCI Bradford's successes into regional, national and international awards.
- The DP would be expected to stand for the role of President for the subsequent year.
- The minimum commitment required from the DP would be to attend board meetings (every six to eight weeks for 90 minutes each).
- To help promote the JCI organisation to potential members and companies in the Bradford area.
JCI Bradford will support it's DP by providing an expenses budget to be agreed (£300-2011) to reflect the committment by the DP helping to drive JCI Bradford forward.

President 2012
The President will work with the Deputy President and the board of directors to lead the organisation towards its vision.
The role will involve representing JCI Bradford at JCI events and local non-JCI events where possible.
- Chair board meetings.
- Planning for the future including organising events and activities.
- Overseeing budget, helping other Directors with projects and generally focus JCI Bradford on future success.
- Approve the nomination of JCI Bradford's successes into regional, national and international awards.
- After your Presidential year the President would be expected to support the incoming President in a role as Immediate Past President.
- The minimum commitment required from the President would be to attend board meetings (every six to eight weeks for 90 minutes each) and any additional meetings that you may be asked to attend that are relevant to the future success of JCI Bradford.
- Attend national board meetings (three per annum).
- Attend regional board meetings (six per annum).
- To promote the JCI organisation to potential members and companies in the Bradford area.
JCI Bradford will support it's President by providing an expenses budget to be agreed (£750-2011) to reflect the committment by the President helping to drive JCI Bradford forward.

Marketing Director
This is the perfect role for someone who is either employed in a marketing job or someone who wants to get into marketing and would like to try it out or gain some additional experience.
Your overall responsibility within JCI Bradford will be to help develop and deliver our marketing plan. The following list describes some of the areas of marketing that we would expect from you.
- Co-ordinate marketing activities.
- Prepare press releases and liaise with local newspapers/magazine editors.
- Prepare content for email, mailout and website.
- Update website content (training provided if neccessary).
- Manage email/online social media activity (training provided if neccessary).
- The minimum commitment required from the Marketing Director would be to attend board meetings (every six to eight weeks for 90 minutes each).

Secretary
This is a supporting role to the board of directors.
Your overall responsibility within JCI Bradford will be to ensure that the conduct of meetings and decisions made are in accordance with our constitution. The following list describes some of expectations from a Secretary.
- Arrange board meetings
- Prepare and issue meeting agendas
- Take minutes and issue them accordingly
- Understand the JCI Bradford constitution and provide guidance if requested
- Co-ordinate general enquiries via post or email
- The minimum commitment required from the Secretary would be to attend board meetings (every six to eight weeks for 90 minutes each).

Membership Director
This person will work with the board of directors to manage the membership of the local organisation.
Your overall responsibility within JCI Bradford will be to ensure that new and existing members are properly introduced to the organisation. The following list describes some of expectations from a Secretary.
- Arrange induction meetings for new members.
- Prepare and issue membership information to new and existing members.
- Liaise with and reconcile membership database with JCI UK membership director.
- Report to the Board on membership levels, transfers and resignations.
- Co-ordinate general enquiries via post or email.
- The minimum commitment required from the Membership Director would be to attend board meetings (every six to eight weeks for 90 minutes each).

Training Director
This is another great opportunity for someone who works in training or would like to get into training.
This post requires the holder to prepare and execute training for members either via external trainers or by taking part in the JCI UK training development programme enabling you to develop professional training skills to write and deliver training internally.
- Promote local, regional and national training programmes to members.
- Liaise with JCI UK National Training Director.
- Prepare a training plan for local members.
- Report to the Board on training events, opportunities and resources required.
- Arrange training events for members.
- The minimum commitment required from the Training Director would be to attend board meetings (every six to eight weeks for 90 minutes each), however, due to the nature of this role you may be involved in the facilitation and/or delivery of training events.
